Peek Behind the Emerald Curtain!

Are you serious about Wicked? Do you want to be in the know about all things Oz? Did you know that you can attend a behind-the-scenes program on the creation of the show?!
Behind the Emerald Curtain is a presentation held by cast members at the Gershwin Theater each Saturday at 10am. They go through the entire process of the creation, casting, rehearsing, and finally, daily performance of Wicked in a multi-media format. You also tour the Museum, which holds a detailed set model by Tony Award-winning set designer Eugene Lee as well as some of the gorgeous costumes dreamed up by Susan Hilferty, also a Tony Award winner. Guests are encouraged to explore the museum and all of the intricate details that go into each performance, from Elphaba and Glinda's dresses to wigs and props.
Behind the Emerald Curtain exposes the work of the over 100 people it takes to put on Wicked each performance, and it also includes a Q and A session during which the presenters will answer any questions about Wicked and Broadway in general. And don't forget to grab a souvenir; there is special merchandise available only to those who take the tour.
This tour makes the perfect complement to a set of Wicked tickets, and good news: Behind the Emerald Curtain tickets are only $30!
